Must have course in case you are thinking on starting 3d printing either as a business or for yourself as a very useful hobby. Why this is the best time to start with 3d printing in general? - Knowledge is yours, no one can take it away. - During uncertain times you must be able to adapt and move online should you be thing of starting a business. - Being able to 3d print using your own designs (not only purchasing from someone else) that are unique or custom made to others' needs - For personal use a 3d printer is becoming more and more vital as due to the uncertanity in the world, I mean pandemic, wars, etc, no one knows what is up next. Accessories and other small parts will be missing or disappear for average people like us, so we have to be able to make them for ourselves. From this aspect 3d printing is rather a must for the near future than only a nice hobby. What will you learn during this course/lecture? - You will be able to select a 3d printer to your need and budget. (FFF (FFD), SLA, resolution, build volume, speed, frame type, closed chamber or not, power consumption) - You will have an understanding of the workflow how an idea can become a tangible product. - If your printer comes with designs on it you will be able to manufacture. - This course focuses on theoretical knowledge to have a solid confident understanding of the whole process What this course/lecture won't give you? - as this is the very first course we won't step into 3d design with software (next classes) - We take a look at different slicer programs, but won't play around with the settings (next classes) IMPORTANT: package deal is available in case you want to go through the whole training process during a 1-on-1, without others.
